The wine trail
Thanks to the Luberon, the Ventoux and the Côtes du Rhône, the Vaucluse can be proud of being one of the best wine regions of France . The clayey-chalky soil, the different grape varieties and the wine grower’s know-how produce world famous wines. Thierry will be pleased to share his favourite addresses with you. Truffle, olive oil, olive paste, olives, goats cheese, strawberries from Carpentras, melons from Cavaillon or asparagus from Villelaure will please taste buds. Where as nougat, berlingots or the calissons of Aix-en-Provence will please sweet teeth.
For all : from the “jardintrain” in Saint Didier to the horse carriage in Roussillon or the Barben Zoological Park not to forget the Haribo Sweet museum in Uzès, tree-top trailing, mini-golf, the automatons village and giant mazes will please the young and the not-so-young.
Surrounded by golf courses, at 5 km from the Vélo Loisir Luberon cycling tracks, departure point for hiking in the Luberon and the Monts du Vaucluse, with near-by stables for horse riding or stabling your horse, everyone will find a sport to his liking. Don’t forget to ride a kayak from Fontain of Vaucluse to Isle sur la Sorgue in the summer month.
